Getting a game while trying to spectate will cause you to get an abandon

So this has happened to me twice in the last few days. Both times, I tried spectating a friend while I was in queue, and when I connect to the spectating server, I find a game at the same time. Leaving the spectating in order to requeue I guess makes you abandon the game that you got. I have a video here of what happened (I played another game right after, but could not queue another game for a few minutes because I was banned)

I really do not want to get banned from this playtest but this has happened twice so far.

As a workaround you can start spectating first and then join the queue.

This happened to me just now - came to report but looks like that has already been done. Started to Spectate, actually cancelled it first, then started to queue. The game brought me into the Spectated match (even though I selected cancel) and leaving it caused my to have a matchmaking penalty.

Cancelling "Spectate loading" does not actually cancel it.

If you tried spectating game and got "waiting to spectate bla bla" and you CANCEL that dialogue, game will still load you into the spectate in couple minutes. And yes, if you were queued for a game at that moment, congrats, you abandoned.

A similar thing happened to me:
- Queued for ranked
- When into hero sandbox just before a game was found
- Tried to leave sandbox, was warned about the game not being safe to leave (even though I was trying to leave sandbox)
