Idk, I understand a little bit of skepticism here just due to how shameless a lot of cheaters can be and have been even here in the forums.
But there are like, an order of magnitude more threads of folks claiming that they
"definitely 100% ran into cheaters in their game" and "wow isn't it just so ridiculous that cheaters like this can just wander around games and ragehack like this????"
A lot of those "this person is defiinitely a cheater" posts are just folks tilt-posting because they got ultra-killed by an infernus with 5k hours on CS2 or R6S has really fucking good aim, but is stuck in initiate because they don't know a moba.
And also sometimes it's so egregious that the subject in question should have been turned into a frog right then and there.
The game is in early access. It's
full of bugs. Some of those bugs are going to involve what info the game passes to VAC to flag it as anticheat, right? I mean, didn't Dota2 have a thing a few years back where they undid thousands of bans because folks was falsely flagged?
If you can't replicate something, it's not a bug. Unfortunately that means that if there's a bug with how Deadlock flags cheaters, it is gonna get replicated.
I'm gonna stay skeptical, but there's a real chance captain amphibian here might be innocent.
