Noticed since this patch.
Sometimes Drain Life simply won't deliver all ticks of damage.
I'm not sure what triggers it, but with a full channel, sometimes you get the full 70 (base skill no additional spirit), sometimes you'll have a streak of 66/67 from a full channel (missing one tick of damage).
Same when upgraded to tier 1 - sometimes 110, sometimes 104/105
Tier 2 - sometimes 220, sometimes 114/115
