Yamato is a bit of a mess right now. Dying while grappling with 2 and then respawning puts you in a state where you can't use any ability other than 2. (watch how it says "press space to abort" while walking around) In the first clip you can see it getting fixed by grappling a target again. But sometimes it's just unfixable, even upon restart / reconnect etc...
It fixed itself at a random point later on, but I couldnt use any abilities, sometimes also not the zipline.
