Game unplayable on Linux after new update..

So after the newest "Old Gods, New Blood" the game has become completely unplayable on Linux. When trying to launch with Proton 10 the game refuses to launch completely, i've tried cachyos proton and same thing, the only ones that work are ProtonGE and experimental, launch options that force an older DLSS also seem to make the game not launch at all. When the game does launch it already stutters a bunch in the hideout, something that didn't happen before this update. And when you get in game it's fine at first but after maybe 15 minutes the game drops to 15fps and being in the blue lane or even looking at it from the other side of the map makes the game drop down to 8fps, or in teamfights the game becomes a powerpoint presentation. I play the game on low graphics on 1080, the game did not have these issues before this update.
I'm on Arch Linux with Hyprland, my specs don't really matter because again the game used to work just fine with my specs and it's not like the game dropped a few frames it became a slideshow

has there been any update on this? super annoying that an entire section of the community is just cut out.

Im playing on nixos rn try turning off shader pre caching in steam download settings'

Have you tried deleting steamapps/compatdata/1422450/ and relaunching? Sometimes that fixes proton issues. Keep in mind it may delete your settings

Nope, not even reinstalling it fixed it. Brawl works okay, normal mode doesn't, the only relief i get is restarting the game mid match but that also SOMETIMES crashes the game right after reconnecting. I love this game but i seriously cannot play it anymore it has become frustrating with the constant stutters, lag and crashes. Many days later the issue still hasn't been fixed and many of my games have been lost thanks to this. Also for some reason sometimes Haze's geometry just explodes and it makes me unable to see anything..

It seriously feels like after this update the whole game downgraded itself to an unplayable mess, it sucks because i really like the new stuff
