Game says it needs to update but update doesn't show up

I launched the game a little bit ago, and the pop-up for a new update came up. I have closed and re-opened the game multiple times, even shutting down steam and bringing it back up, but the update still hasn't shown up.

It takes time for the steam content delivery network to receive the update, it isn't a bug.

Well this is the only time it's happened in over a month now

It happened the last time there was a very big patch, the one that rebalanced most heroes took like 15 minutes before it was ready.

I am glad to see I am not only one having this issue. Looks like we have to wait, due Steam restarting does nothing to the issue.
Edit: And once I posted this comment here, update showed up. GG with timing.
