Game launch causes electron/chrome apps to freeze and crash

Sometimes (seems to be by chance for all I can tell) when I launch deadlock all of the applications i have curently running that use electron or chromium freeze.
Including Chrome and Discord, steam doesnt seem to be effected and steam uses chromium embedded framework instead of electron. all of my graphics drivers are up to date.

I have an nvidia 2060 card and im on windows 10

downgrading my graphics drivers to 565.90 seems to fix the issue, will note ive tried earlier versions but every version after this seems to have the same issue.
