Game decides to randomly sell an item during a match when buying an item

At approx. 23:56, me (as Shiv) sold Resto shot and then bought Plated Armor which, for some reason, sold my knockdwon item FOR ME (I got sell-back souls) and replaced it with Plated Armor.

I hadn't noticed it until later.

Again, when I spawned back at 25:56, I noticed the knockdown was missing and had repurchased it. That's when the game AGAIN sold my Plated Armor and replaced it with the knockdown.

This just happened to me again in a match, caused me to lose basically. Happened with another set of items (Bought Healbane and it sold my Cultists as Yamato).

I think this has to do with ping/packet loss/network related thing since the game felt really weird, my abilties did not connect and sometimes even feel delayed (damage applied 0.5 seconds after ability had landed...)

Please look into this, super game breaking and annoying.
