Do you have any crash dumps?
They can be in these folders:

• ..\steamapps\common\Project8Staging\game\bin\win64\project8_*_*_*_*_*.mdmp
• ..\Steam\dumps\crash_project8.exe_*_*.dmp

Crashes happen for me as well (started yesterday midgame, now I cant even start a match with bots)

Let's see if I can bump this thread.
I have this problem too. I attached 2 crash dump files that were created after the crash. And then I got banned for leaving

EDIT: Lowered my video settings and its working now

Let's continue to add to the thread, I hadn't had a single crash till the update today then it's completely unplayable.

8/21 & 8/22 - I haven't been able to stay in-game for a full match, game will crash or will resort to BSOD. I have checked my ram and there are no issues.
8/23 - I can load up the game client but cannot join a match or sandbox mode without it crashing immediately to Desktop.

Would appreciate any help

I read that affects 13 and 14 series CPUs, I'm running a 9700K, would I still be affected by this?

Update: I disabled Intel Turbo Boost and that fixed the game issues.

I have the same problems with crashes from the game, reinstalling the drivers and the game itself did not help. amd CPU

I have ran into this same issue. the game would load into the map for about 2 seconds after spawn and then it just crashes. i tried lowering settings, changing some around, etc. and nothing. Still crashing.
