game was doing countdown and as soon as countdown ended game crashed with error
"content file d:\data\games\steam\steamapps\common\deadlock\game\citadel\pak01.vpk is corrupt. verify integrity of game files
when attempting to relaunch steam, steam said "downloading content" but would not move past 0%
manually executed project8.exe
was able to re-enter game but hero was still in the waiting area.
attempted to move out of bounds on the map to get ported (or die)
game teleported me to a room that was out of bounds on the right hand side of the map
i attempted to unstuck hero and suicide in escape menu but neither worked.
had to wait out the end of the game
