[GAME BREAKING] The "Lore Accurate" Doorman Exploit

I mean, are we play testing, or are we giving people quality matches?

Seems to be contradictory. I argue a ban for a week, maybe 2 at best. Being abusive is different as it spoils the fun for everyone.
This is the issue with making this game more and more public, the developers need QA testers and they are doing it more publicly than ever before. Yes the game can be enjoyed but realistically the game needs to be shipped and anything to help ship this is more worth while than an enjoyable match. We really need to start realising that this is not a finished product, there is so much more to develop and finding game abusing bugs earlier than later keeps the polish very high. Again this is the problem with having more and more people play this test it is now perceived as a closed beta which it still isn't on a technical level.

It is still in alpha, so correct. This is an restricted open alpha.

That's the problem, nobody would like to test the game when u get punished for it and especially permanently (even though I did deserve a punishment in my opinion). A week ban or a warning before should allow people to feel more safe as well as have fun testing weird game interactions and reporting them.

Fault partly lies in devs hands imo. Certain exploits existing for long periods of times makes a grey area; yes we are in a playtest however there are also 90k daily players which definitely goes over the scope of a playtest. I don't think anyone has issues with bugs being in the game even for long amounts of time as it's an alpha but if they are properly reported and are of sufficient importance, they should get fixed in a somewhat timely manner. The most current example is the Victor Pain Battery exploit for instant-charge, it's been close to 2 weeks since the bug was introduced. If it's not been fixed thus far do those exploiting deserve punishment, or is this a silently agreed 'mechanic' from the dev team; hard to tell.
