Contributing to this. I've had a similar thing happen twice in the last week as well. The audio after maybe 20 mins into the game will start to noticeably drop out. Losing all audio except snippets of gun shots and my own footsteps. I tried restarting the game during one of the audio losses but it didn't appear to fix the issue (It was better for a couple seconds at most but came back). Audio for everything else on my pc appeared to be fine. Discord etc. all worked during this time. I verified my files the other day and have been keeping an eye on the audio but haven't noticed anything since. I did notice the audio will drop out/come back temporarily around certain hero abilities being used. For example grey talon ult exploding would bring back audio for a sec.
