Fullscreen causing game to crash on open(?)

enabled full screen in game with default resolution, now the opening cutscene is causing my game to crash. usually i'm able to find a work around for these kinds of things but im stumped here


EDIT: managed to fix by uninstalling all vid drivers - then updating. i think the most recent driver update for the 4080 super caused this to happen
