Friendly walker blocks projectiles when playing certain characters in my case Vindicta, I've been confused why my Crow, Stake and Alchemical Fire don't land where I want it to when speeding on the zipline to defend the Walker.
It seems the Walker has a hitbox that can be hit by friendly players like it would on an enemy Walker.
I've done some research to see what abilities and items are affected by this.
Abilities affected by this:
Bebop Grapple Arm.
Haze Sleep Dagger.
Holliday Spirit Lasso.
Ivy Kudzu Bomb and Air Drop bomb.
Kelvin Frost Grenade.
Gheist Malice.
Mirage Fire Scarabs.
Paradox Pulse Grenade and Paradoxical Swap.
Pocket Barrage.
Shiv Serrated Knives.
VIndicta Stake and Crow Familiar.
Vyper Screwjab Dagger and Petrifying Bola.
Items:
Well yeah just Alchemical Fire.
I have no idea if some of these were intentional or not since for example Warden Alchemical Flask and Gheist Essence Bomb still go through the friendly Walker.
Could be it's discouraged to play under Walker and these changes were made but I highly doubt that cause this is really about saving a Walker or not and possibly getting a kill on someone for trying to take a Walker.
This is very annoying as a player and discourages playing next, behind or under your own Walker and instead forces you to play in front of the Walker to actually be able to defend it properly.
On some characters you can't even defend properly when speeding in like Vindicta for example where you just hit your Walker with Stake and just become "useless" for that entire fight or just watch your enemy keep shooting the walker all because you can't punish with Stake since it hit the Walker.
