Friend Referral not working

I’ve been really loving this game and my girlfriend keeps watching and wants to play with me, the "invite a friend" isn’t working for her and it’s been 3 days with multiple people inviting her, is there a way to manually invite her or someone to talk to about it? We've checked the emails and steam over the last few days too , it just says pending.
