Friend accidentally declined invite to playtest

I invited my friend but he accidentally declined it and it seems he can't get another invite. I had another friend join and send him an invitation to see if it was just me that couldn't invite him but he never received another invitation. Is there a way to get him another invite or is he out of luck?

I'm also curious about this, I've got a friend who has been trying to get into the game for many weeks at this point with no luck, despite multiple invites from various people.
