Freezing on opening cutscene as of two days ago

For the last two days whenever I load up Deadlock I reach the opening cutscene and then it freezes and doesn't progress further. My cursor shows up and can be moved but there is no audio and it is stuck on the same frame of the opening scene of the game. If I try the launch option -novid it skips this but is frozen on the message about the game being an early access build, and I cannot interact with anything. When I open it with vulcan instead of dx11 it doesn't freeze but replays the same few frames over and over with no audio like before.

I have tried many things like: restarting pc, updating drivers, reinstalling (twice), many launch options, changing network settings and probably more I am forgetting.

Please help as I cannot play deadlock currently with this issue!
