Fps drops

When some characters ult I get a sharp drop in fps as well, which was not happening before the update. But by far, the most significant drop is when I open the store

I also noticed that the smoothness of the game is gone, although the fps is kept in the region of 100 fps, and the feeling is that 40 fps

the massive drops / memory leaks are still there. at seemingly random moments fps will drop into single digits and not recover until I disconnect / reconnect

35830870 (I was the dynamo)

it happened less often than two days ago (maybe?) but still very frequently especially lategame

running in dx11 (vulkan is even worse)

attached is a video of the drop, I didn't manage to catch it happening live unfortunately

I just watched back the replay, it doesn't happen while watching the replay.

But I noticed that mcginnes used her 1 ability both times before the drop happened. just thought I'd mention it since I read some people reporting issues with that ability

also opening the shop drops my fps to low double digits and sometimes it seems like it doesn't recover from that either

so whatever performance issues were fixed last patch, it's still absolutely unplayable for me unfortunately

I don't know what happened but the game seems to perform like normal for me now. Except, after about 2 games, in the middle of the 3rd game the FPS drops massively. Some sort of memory leak. What's frustrating is that the only solution I found was to just restart the game. But even if I ask for a pause, restarting the game means pre-loading again. Which takes time. By the time it finishes, the game has already continued. Even if the enemy was kind enough to wait, they never wait that long.

I am getting drops when a hero with a high fire rate buys split shot or similar items, even though I have a pretty high-end computer. It doesn't matter where the hero uses split shot or whether they are in my camera's field of view or not. There should be a way to amortize or reduce the number of particles spawned to save on cost, I think. Oh, also, the shop and some other regions of the map get extremely bright if there's a pause. I believe the emitters bug out and continue spawning particles without killing them during pauses, and brightness values accumulate post-pause.

One thing I noticed that caused massive FPS drops twice was the ultimate animation getting stuck as Seven. Not 100% sure if that caused it, but I noticed a big drop in performance from 50-60 to 20-30 after I first respawned with the bugged animation, both times. It lasted until the end of the game, even after the animation got unstuck and the character model went back to normal. I can't pinpoint the exact issue, but playing as seven and bugs with the animations seemed to have been the link between the two times this happened.
