This item requires a rebalance. I'm tired of players buying this to either get hp or get the 4.8k souls hp investment.
If the developers want this item to upgrade from extra hp, then we'll keep + hp stat, but reduce it from +375 to +185.

Ideally, I would remove the hp stat.Then we'll either leave everything as it is and make sure that the jungle creeps and the sinners sacrafice don't interrupt the healing timer, or we'll nerf the heal by 0.5-0.75%

Another option is to reduce the fortitude cd to 10 seconds (as it used to be), while the heal can again be reduced by 0.5-0.75%. The point is to actively heal

The third variation cd will remain the same or we'll raise it to 14-15 seconds, but we'll increase the heal from 2 to 4% and raise the move speed to 1.5 or 1.75

An additional option that is suitable for any variation (but most suitable for options with high cd cooldown)
When the hp is above 75%, you also get + 100 souls / min. Or you get a 200 barrier

Personally, I'm in favor of upgrading extra hp only to Colossus, and if fortitude's design would be changed, then you can remove +375 hp stat and raise/add some stats. This item was designed for roamers, not carries and i hate when pro players brainlessly buy it on every single character just for the +375 hp stat
 
I, uh... I don't think that is the case. I think that is the primary reason people buy the item. It give you the ability to take damage but stay on the map.
