I've had this character concept in my head for a while but I've only recently gotten time to sit down and work out her abilities. I know that a Flamethrower is a gun concept that I think a decent number of players would like to see, so I decided to work up a character concept that would work for that. The numbers, of course, are completely untested and are subject to change, but the core concepts of the abilities are, I think, in the right place.
Conceptually, she is designed to effectively be the opposite of Infernus in what she does for a team, but also function pretty similarly in a lot of ways. Whereas Infernus is primarily a gun hero who does a lot of single target damage when he builds gun (until he gets Ricochet) and a lot of area damage when built Spirit (via Flame Dash), Fire bug works the opposite. Her Spirit builds are strong single target damage whereas her gun build does a lot of area damage.
Because a Flamethrower is a new kind of weapon, it has a lot of details that need to be explained:

Because a Flamethrower is a new kind of weapon, it has a lot of details that need to be explained:
- Primary Fire:
- 15 Degree cone
- 22m Range
- Deals 0% additional Critical damage. Critical hits can still proc effects (Such as HSB)
- Does damage constantly (Like Bebop's beam)
- Has "Heat Gauge" instead of normal Ammo. It takes ~4s to "Overheat"
- Gun cools off over about 2s after full Overheat
- After ~.5s of not firing, gun begins to cooldown automatically.
- When not overheated, gun takes ~1.4s to cooldown completely, regardless of total heat buildup
- Secondary fire: None (ADS)
- Special Interaction: When the player attempts to reload, the gun launches a fireball that detonates on impact. The damage is always the same, but the Radius increases the less "Heat" built up on the gun. Damage is about equal to a light melee.
- +Ammo increases time to Overheating as well as Fireball Radius
- +Fire Rate Reduces time to Overheating and increases DPS
- -Reload time reduces time spent Overheated.
- Abilities are enhanced while her Flamethrower is Overheated.
