So I love fighting games like Street Fighter, and with how much I love Abrams/Lash, I decided to conceptualize a hero to fit this bill. I'll copy-paste what I wrote on another place:
The idea I had in mind, or atleast the chunks of an idea I got going on, is a cyborg wrestler/grappler for the game. The character itself would be a flashy, and explosive personality having criminal cyborg turned underground wrestler who wants to join in on the party to earn some quick souls/cash, and with the help of his modified shotgun knuckles, and beefy body, he uses his skills to deal with 1v1s and especially others that get in his way to rob them of their loot/goods.
What I got going on atm is this: His right hand is a modified shotgun that fires for about 8 rounds, with him wiggling his fingers in a wave like motion starting from the pinky to index finger to reload, then fistpumping when he's finished reloading. For his four specials, his first one would be a running bear grab, or possibly a power bomb. It'd act akin to Abrams with his shoulder tackle charge, and dish high damage to anyone who gets grabbed, with further upgrades giving him longer move duration, causing a ground bounce on finishing up the move/faster firing speed, and finally applies debuffs for the last one. His second special could be giving himself a small bullet/spirit shield to himself tank some hits if the enemy is coming in or he's having trouble get in. Some upgrades that come to mind him having a faster move speed, a faster cooldown, and having way higher melee damage when in use. Either that or his own version of Metal Skin cause haha iron gief reference.
For a third one it'd be a mixup tool that when using without jumping, lets you throw the opponent up in the air, stunning them for 3/4ths of a second. This can either allow you to follow up with shotgun blasts in the air, or if you press it alongside your first special quick enough and jump, it allows you to leap in the air and perform a power bomb into the ground. The higher the opponent is, the more damage it deals akin to Lash's first one. Upgrades for it would be faster firing speed for 5 seconds when thrown, a higher throw height, and a large amount of health given back if he manages to kill the opponent.
The fourth one would be a move similar to Abram's ultimate, where he jumps in and performs a dive bomb, but instead the character goes for a body splash and causes massive AoE damage/stuns players. If he manages to land on a player, it knocks them down and disables their weapons/abilities for a bit. Upgrades for this move this move would be a cooldown upgrade, a larger splash radius, as well as being immune to certain effects too.Also for their grappling abilities, it will be counted as melee attacks, so it'd stack with stuff like Melee Lifesteal/Lifestrike and other melee oriented upgrades to feed into that offensive playstyle. It probably sounds super unbalanced, but I wanna know what you guys think.
