FATAL ERROR: Error reading from loaded packed store "E:\Steamlibrary\steamapps\common\Deadlock\game\citadel\pak01_001.vpk

Hey yall! im new to the forum but ive been playing deadlock for a little bit now! ever since the most recent update my game has been crashing and its been showing me this file error: "FATAL ERROR: Error reading from loaded packed store E:\Steamlibrary\steamapps\common\Deadlock\game\citadel\pak01_001.vpk" I have no idea how to fix it and now I've been banned from playing for a while because my game keep crashing half-way through matches even though that's the only way I can test if the game is running well or not. Is there anyone that might be able to help me with this? So far I've completely deleted the game and re-downloaded it but that's been to no avail on my first attempt and I made sure that my drivers are up to date too so im not too sure whats exactly causing the error.

Also is there anyway i can get unbanned without having to wait? Its fine if thats already asking for too much.

Agreed. It's ridiculous and not only did it crash my game but it literally caused my pc to blue screen multiple times but luckily that's all fixed. This is not something that should be going under the radar!

I have also gotten this a few times. Someone else here said it might be related to RAM speeds, so I lowered it from the overclocked 3200 back down to Auto. We'll see if it happens again.

Yeah my friend also mentioned that too. The thing is my pc can easily run games like monster hunter wild and I've never had any issues prior to the update so it just leaves me with many questions. Do keep me updated if you find something that might help. Thank you for your input! If you can I would appreciate if you ask people who have the same issue to make post because our concerns need to be heard!!!!!

I've been having the same issue for the past month and it feels like it just has gotten worse cant even load into game really
