Abilities (No hard numbers. Im not a balancer)

Water hose. [Gun/Left click]
A short to medium range water hose with high fire rate and ammo capacity but low damage. At short range it acts as a laser beam with no drop off but past close range the stream is effected by gravity. Gun heavy boons increase the effective range by making the "beam" fall off later. (For reference, the starting range before fall off is slightly past lane bridge to enemy lane guardian stairs. Just imagine bebop but instead of his laser vanishing at max range it just started falling)

[1] [Active] Sow Seeds.
Description: Throw 3 seed pods forward in a triangular pattern, shortly after they hit the ground they grow into winding roots that briefly snare opponents in place alongside a small burst of spirit. (2nd level makes the middle most seed Trigger Fertile Soil where it lands. Final level makes ALL seeds trigger fertile soil where they land)

Intent: General brief CC/Stun with a sorta shotgunny feel, the middle most one in the "triangle" goes the farthest and directly at your crosshair, the others land close behind it diagonally. Can be used as a setup for team-mates, Soul Harvester or as an chase down tool if you're really good at the timing


[2] [Active] Sprinkler System
Description:
Activate a small Sprinkler system attached to your back providing an buffing aura around you that gives all allies increased attack speed, movement speed, and minor resistances. Can alternatively be "deployed" onto the ground for a slight range boost. Duration scales with spirit. (Final level adds a small percentage heal and makes all effects linger for a few seconds after an ally steps out of its range)

Intent: A purely supportive ability similar to mcginnis but more offensive than defensive, only gaining a heal at its final levels. Can be used solo for a "gun" build or a supportive spirit build where you play close to your team


[3] [Passive] Fertile Soil.
Description: When an enemy hero dies nearby you their corpse will sprout a low lying bed of flowers that slow enemies atop of them, slows their fire rate and reduces their resistances by a small amount. Enemy troops drop much smaller beds of flowers with reduced effects. (The last level silences movement abilities like slowing hex when an enemy steps onto the flower bed for more than a few frames and lingers briefly afterwards)

Intent: A passive that messes with enemy positioning during team fights by making them more vulnerable to most attacks. Mostly support with possibility of leaning into it to create a debuff hero by extending its duration and increasing its size with spirit items while also still having it be somewhat useful if the player wants to play solo by triggering it with max level Sow seeds and using it as a chase down tool


[4] [ULT] Soul Harvester
Description:
Call down a large combine harvester and climb inside, after revving the engine for a moment slam forward in a large wide straight path along the floor where your aiming to run over enemies along your path. Hit enemies take a large amount of damage and are stuck into the ground for a moment afterwards. When the ult ends or you hit a wall you are ejected out of the harvested upwards and backwards with a cancellable slow fall effect to reposition. (Final level STEALS 100 souls from any enemy hit and 600 souls from any killed directly by the ult. Enemy heros cannot go into debt. (If an enemy does not have enough to pay farlo, farlo recieves what they have + half the max reward))

Intent: A long cooldown ult with high team-fight potential that directly synergizes with sow seeds or team-mate setups/stuns. the vertical "jump" at the end is designed to be used as a way to try and get back into position after an ult while also allowing a chance to use sow seeds or primary fire while returning. Also could be used as an absolute emergency get away tool if caught off guard. (being his only true movement abiliity)

Movement speed scales with spirit.

As the world grew more peaceful and wars grew cold, the souls they left behind in the dirt we walk on grew weaker aswell. Soul Farmers all around the world who had once thrived farming atop the mass graves of forgotten soliders, extracting their lost souls through the plants grown atop their soil, have too begun to fade away into obscurity as reserves grew empty and protections signed into law by those unwilling to accept their reality.

Farlo is but one of many of those farmers, slowly losing their land to entropy. He once had a thriving business collecting the endless souls of the thousands of soliders that died under his familes land during a war not even he knew the history of. Until one day, he decided check his own records and realized the truth. His once bountiful expanse of a field was slowly shrinking before his very eyes, the reserve below was draining rapidly, and that soon. It will be nothing but a barren field and a once happy farmer

(Tldr: Farmers literally farm souls from mass graves/graveyards by extracting the souls stuck in the ground with their plants. War stopped so no more new graves, reserves grew weak and farmers start losing their jobs. Farlo is one of those farmers, he seeks the patron to restore his farm. Psuedo Oil/Natural gas metaphor but not really)

Visuals
I'd love to put something here but I really don't much of an idea. Oddly my only mental image is a a turtle like character but deadlock's lore seems to be pretty tip-toey around anthromoporhic furry characters, with billys goat head being explicitly the only non-human part of him and being referred too as a mistake in dialogue so I don't want to suggest that. Really just do whatever
