failed to load into a match and then banned for 8 hours

I joined queue to play a standard match and then went over spectate an ongoing match. I was watching a match and heard the match load in sound but i wasn't pulled into my game. I stayed in the spectator match. I pressed escape and saw that i could click "rejoin" which was weird. I clicked "rejoin" but I was imediately pulled back to the lobby and was then greeted with an 8 hour ban.

I hope you guys fix this soon as i see this post a LOT
