My suggestion for a hero: Euryale the Gorgon, who works as a college professor. She is a scaled, snakelike woman with serpentine hair, wearing glasses and a sharp suit jacket with pencil skirt. Her backstory is that she's an ancient history buff (as she is immortal) and utilizes vast resources (and the fact she's a gorgon) to hunt down rare artifacts and arcane rituals for prestige and fame. She is known for turning her enemies into statues to place into her personal collection at a museum of classical Greek art.
Her abilities would center around mainly debuffs. Her weapon could be something like an old history book that she flings sharp pages out of, regenerating pages when she reloads.
Ability 1 - Painful Lesson: Fires a bolt of venomous magic from the book, causing any hero in a line hit to take Spirit damage and suffer from a poison DoT.
Ability 2 - Studious Mark: Targets an enemy hero to apply a debuff reducing their Bullet and Spirit resists for a short time. May also be buffed to provide vision for Euryale.
Ability 3 - Serpentine: Briefly transform into a mass of snakes, allowing you to move faster and gaining Bullet Evasion during the effect. Units you pass under are poisoned with a DoT.
Ability 4 - Gorgon's Gaze: After a brief moment to take off her glasses, Euryale unleashes a cone of petrifying energy in front of her. Heroes caught in the area are petrified for a short time.
