Escape stops working after editing build name

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch the game
2. Go to the shop in the atrium/practice range area
3. Open the shop by pressing B button
4. Press "Edit" button at the top
5. Make any changes to the build name (or just add a letter and remove it)
6. Save the changes

After this pressing ESC button on the keyboard does nothing. Even though usually is exits the menu and the tip at the bottom says it should.

Same here.

I press B to exit and instead it adds it to the build name. Attached a video.

Buying or selling an item seems to fix it.

I've been having this bug a LOT after making my own builds. not sure if it may be the only way to reproduce but can confirm myself, as well as still text fields still taking input after clicked out of and pressing save changes too.
