Escalating Exposure + Malice causes unpredictable and unstable behavior

Lady Geist's Malice (3) seems to interact with Escalating Exposure in very strange ways when they are stacked together. Some examples with reproduction steps, all done in local sandboxes, in order of severity from lowest to highest:

Exponential scaling:
1) Get to max stacks with both Escalating Exposure and Malice on any player (dummy or bot)
2) Deal spirit damage with any ability/item
The most simple of the bugs and the one that presumably is causing the other weird behavior. Your spirit damage is amplified way, way more than it should be. As far as I can tell, this is inconsistent with all other stacked damage amps in the game. Not game breaking in itself as decay is the only good method to stack Escalating Exposure enough for this effect to matter, and also seems to be exponentially reduced back to normal expected levels against opponents with enough spirit resist....for some reason. It's not clear why when these are both damage amps, not shred.

Strange amping behavior:
1) Purchase Siphon Bullets (this should be your only item)
2) Observe Siphon Bullet damage on proc with and without Malice stacks
3) Purchase Escalating Exposure (keep Siphon Bullets as well)
4) Observe Siphon Bullet damage on proc with and without Escalating Exposure stacks (DON'T STACK MALICE YET)
5) Add Malice Stacks
6) Observe Siphon Bullet damage on proc with both Malice and Escalating Exposure Stacks
Too long; didn't repro: Malice doesn't normally amp Siphon Bullet damage, and Escalating Exposure normally does. For some reason, having both at once causes Malice to start amping the damage as well, exponentially.

Kill with No Death:
1) In Sandbox, turn on No Death and spawn an Infernus Bot somewhere where it won't get hit by creeps
2) Buy Escalating Exposure and Crippling Headshot
3) Fully stack Escalating Exposure and Malice on the Infernus Bot (DO NOT APPLY CRIPPLING HEADSHOT YET)
4) Once fully stacked, apply Crippling Headshot
5) Cast Malice on the Infernus Bot
Congrats, you just did 4 million damage in one ability cast and Infernus can finally rest in peace after all your torture. Not sure why this bypasses the No Death rule, but it's interesting.

Crash the game:
1) Repeat steps 1-3 in the above bug, except stop applying stacks once the infernus bot reaches 17 Escalating Exposure stacks and 5 Malice stacks
2) Apply Crippling Headshot now.
3) Cast Malice on the Infernus Bot
This consistently crashes the game.

There are other strange behaviors as well. Somehow, while testing, I had Siphon Bullets stop dealing damage with its proc entirely until a restart, and Mystic Reverb doesn't inherit the proper amount of damage that it should from damage amplified in this way, but I won't list reproduction steps for every oddity with it. Something is funky with the damage calculations here, and I can only hope the game crash isn't a server crash when done in an actual server rather than a locally hosted sandbox instance.

Apparently Malice cancels Escalating Exposure.
With this item equipped, Life Drain the dummy multiple times to see that the damage escales as intended.
Maintaining this damage amp, use Malice and then Life Drain again. You'll see that not only the damage has completely reduced, but it doesn't escale back according to Escalating Exposure, it remains the same. It only escales with more stacks of Malice.
With no stacks of Malice, the item works normally.

Shouldn't it apply even more damage amplification with Malice?
