ESC Not Working While In Game + No UI of Items

Mid-match my ESC key stopped bringing me to the usual options. Furthermore, pretty sure pressing it caused me to lose the UI showing me items and active item cooldowns. Had no clue if Slowing Hex or Heroic Aura were off cooldown.

I do not know what caused the bug.
