ESC not working in curiosity shop

Going into the curiosity shop in the main menu in browse items -> click on Vitality -> Any Vitality item. Causes the ESC key not to exit out, but the button in the bottom left still works.

It seems to be related to changing tab instead of clicking any item. Or at least today I got it repeatedly on Vitality and Spirit tabs by
1. Open Shop
2. Browse Items
3. Switch tab -> Pressing esc doesn't work
4. Clicking into the search box re-enables esc

sometimes it stops working in other menus i.e. create/browse builds menus

Its not bound to the Vitality icon, when you click on the curiosity shop, no matter the icon you switch to Esc stops working

I also have this issue. Only happens if I change the item tabs. If I do not change the item tab my "ESC" key works as expected.

repro steps for me:
1: start at main menu
2: click Resources
3: click Browse Items
4: click on any of the tabs (Weapon, Vitality, or Spirit, doesn't matter which one and you don't even need to change to a new tab)

esc key will no longer go back to previous screen
