THE ENTREPRENEUR (Zachary)

LORE (Can Skip)
At 20 Zachary was gifted a small loan of 500k from his rich parents. He than began his business empire, and bought out a large share of homes across the impoverished parts of Ixia. To "fund renovations" to many of these disheveled homes he jacked up the price of rent.
After a few years of this, rent had doubled and Zachary was swimming in cash. The tenants became fed up and stormed the castle he made his home and gave him an ultimatum. He had 3 days to wipe his hands clean of the towns he had bought up, or they'd kill him. Zachary pondered what to do and found out about the Patrons and the ritual happening in NYC.
He saw the ritual as not only a chance to fix the disagreements with his tenants in Ixia, but also the potential to strike up a lucrative business with a god.
GAMEPLAY SUMMARY
Zachary plays as a hybrid hyper carry, though has potential for support with his ult. His main gimmick is that some of his ability's require SOULS to use. To even this out, many parts of his kit supply him with SOULS as payment for kills. This means to capitalise on the extra souls he gains you have to be active and mobile in fights.
This means you're often weak in the early game when you're not outputting a lot of damage, though if you manage to get ahead you can absolutely run away with a game, which ties into the character's selfish capitalist archetype. Fall behind and you're pretty dead weight and have to play around your ult to support your team.
GUN/VITALITY

(
(BULLET DAMAGE BOON SCALING = 0.48)
(LIGHT MELEE BOON SCALING = +1.6)
(HEAVY MELEE BOON SCALING = +3.8)
MAX HEALTH BOON SCALING = +60)
Zachary's gun is his cane, and is very similar in DPS to Kelvin/Warden. His gun will be his primary damage tool. His Bullet and Melee scaling is very slightly higher than those previously mentioned heros.
His vitality stats are middle of the road. His Max Health Boon scaling is a little higher than Warden and 3 below Mo and Krill. Though he starts with 25 less health than Warden, leaning into his lane game potential.
COIN TOSS

Ability is akin to the coin from ultrakill. This is Zachary's main poke tool, letting him dish out hard damage from a range. The ability scales off weapon damage, his gun being his primary source of damage meaning he scales well with his gun.
T3 is a huge upgrade (and might be a little too OP late game...) and is useful for poking out enemies from your base/out of enemy base.
SLASHING PRICES

At Boundless damage is increased by roughly +200 and distance by about 5m. The idea of this ability is a high value ability with a drawback of costing 100 souls to use. This means you need to think if its worth it to dash into an enemy if you think you wont be able to kill the enemy.
The incentive to finish off an enemy hit by this ability further promotes having teammates nearby to help you confirm a kill. This works into the 10% souls received from a kill being given to allies.
Soul Splitting at time of writing : 100%/50%/28%/17%/11%/8% (for 1/2/3/4/5/6 players)
(Souls gained for kill per minute: +48.75)
At 0ms kills grant 250, divided by 2 for 125 each. This means allies get +12.5 souls for 137.5 souls total, and Zachary for 275 souls total (425 souls at T2).
Divided between 6 players, allies get +2 souls for 22 souls total, and Zachary for 170 souls (320 souls at T2).
At 40ms kills grant 1950, divided between 2 players for 975. This means allies receive +97.5 souls for 1072.5 souls total, and Zachary gets 1125 souls total (1275 souls at T2).
Divided between 6 players, allies get +15.6 souls for 171.6 souls total, and Zachary for 306 souls (456 souls at T2).
LAUNDERING

Laundering is basically Trophy Collector that increases value with Ability Point Investment. When ahead in a game, you have the option to upgrade your other abilities to increase your damage to get ahead or put points into the passive to increase your scaling ability.
T2 upgrade increases gun scaling for stacks only AFTER reaching T2. This means if you anticipate you'll get ahead and get a lot of stacks you can put two points into your passive to get the bonus gun damage for the stacks you receive early on in the game.
The souls spent scale such that if you have boundless spirit you receive +16 souls from the passive, whereas souls spent from passive increase +32. This is so there is risk involved in investing into your passive, especially late in the game when the scaling increases.
STOCK MARKET

(PULSE AND AREA OF EFFECT WORKS THROUGH WALLS.)
(STOLEN NETWORTH AND SOULS ARE GAINED THROUGH PICKING UP THE ENEMY'S DROPPED BAG. ENEMIES HAVE TO VISIST A SHOP TO CASH THESE IN, ALLIES DO NOT.)
Stock market deploys a beacon that can be broken by the enemy. This means it's ideal to place the beacon in a location where it cannot be broken just as a fight is beginning. You could also use the beacon as a tool to break LOS in case of emergency or as something to tank damage for you. Feel the power of this ULT is countered by its high cooldown.
BUILD IDEAS
GUN CARRY

(Apologies for extra charge being grey'd out, weird bug).
(Imbue QSR/MM on Coin Toss).
(Use majestic Leap to travel quickly to fights to increase stacks).
SPIRIT DASH CARRY

(Arcane Surge for your Ult range + duration).
(Echo shard imbue on dash for massive dash damage, and if you get a kill and have T3 you can do several back-to-back).
SUPPORT (WHEN BEHIND IN SOULS)

CLOSING THOUGHTS
Deadlock doesn't have a character who spends souls to use abilities, nor have I seen something like that in other games (though isn't saying much as I haven't played DOTA/DOTA 2 or League), so I'm unsure if the cost of spending souls to use these abilities is worth it for their value. I imagine it would make collecting farm (which this character really likes) hard, forcing you to spec into your gun, and tesla isn't ideal on this character due to their fire rate, so feels kind of iffy.
Also am unsure about the bounty gains from their abilities, am eager for feedback on if the received souls are too much or too little.
