Empty Minimap when rejoining a match

For about a minute after rejoining a match recently, the minimap was empty: it did not show my teammates, the lane lines, troops, guardians, etc, only the background image. After about a minute it all kicked back in.

Just happened to me too, also didnt see any effects from guns or players or minions. Match ID 26715149
