A Fate's Tale: Karissa Matrigale was New York's most talented singer. She could be found performing in almost any venue, big or small. Her following was not a small one. Indeed, it was a large enough following that eventually she found a man who showed up at one of her shows and she fell for him head over heels.
But the feeling was not mutual. He was a nomad, a man who would rove from city to city seeking Mystics and their artifacts to "acquire". Why? He never told her, but the day he left the Cursed Apple without a word or a whisper to Karissa was the day she found that she was left with a hole in her heart. Her singing didn't suffer, but all of her songs gained a bewitching property, instilling a sense of forlorn and loneliness in all who would listen. An Echo of the joy and happiness that she once inspired. She has heard, recently, that an event would be happening in New York. That great godlike beings would be summoned with the power to grant the summoner a Wish. Now she seeks out one of the Patrons to bring her love to her, and make certain he would fall as desperately in love with her as she is with him. . . .
