Dynamo's 2nd ability is showing movement to positions and then not moving to said position

I don't have any photos or images of this, but as of current update Dynamo's matter transfer ability is occasionally causing him to show to be moving a fair distance on his UI, like its max distance, but will get pinned against some object and only move a short distance instead- is not the ability supposed to take you where the dot is? This was not an issue before the 9/12/24 patch.
