Doorman's Doorway VISIBLE NUMBER timer IDEA

So I've been thinking for a while about how it is kinda hard to tell, especially if people don't pay attention to it, for Doorman's Doorway how much time is left for the Doorway to close. People aren't actively paying attention to the orange or blue line on top to see how much time Doorway is active.

I would like to think a numbered timer would be the next logical step to this, but I was thinking of how it could look thematically... so what if instead of a normal digital clock-like timer that counts down it's a number morphing timer? Meaning that the numbers would countdown but morph into each other. I have a few examples that I found online.

Example 1 is probably the best example as it's with code
Example 2 is used in After Effects but its an example nonetheless
Example 3 is hand-drawn but the idea is still there where the numbers morph into each other

Even if this idea doesn't pass, I think a nice idea would be to add an audio cue as each second passes by. Similar to the ticking of Hotel Guest, it'd play that sound (subtly or not) as each second passes by. Maybe a cue when Doorway is about to close? If you guys have watched the movie In Time, that ticking sound the timer makes is also a really good example as well.

I think having a timer like this makes sense thematically and gameplay-wise since it'll waaaaaay easier to see how much time Doorway will be up. You could also make the countdown timer fade into a color the closer the countdown reaches 0. Now if Doorman cancels Doorway then I'm at a loss right there I guess the doors and numbers would close as normal.

Would it impact gameplay? For your team, I'd say absolutely as it allows for them to see a number of how much time they can pressure and dip if Doorman leaves Doorway active for them. For the enemy team, why are you going into a door that you don't know where it'd take you towards?

I don't know how possible this would be to do in-game, but in my head this is how I'd go along with Doorway's timer and making it make sense thematically while also making it easier to read gameplay-wise. Thanks for reading!
