i was wondering what changed, after the hotfix my game got really unstable and fps's dropped like crazy, i played doorman in both

I played 2 games before update and i had no issues whatsoever

Yep, I just experienced this as well. Framerate drops from solid 180 to 60+stutters. I hope this gets addressed cuz it screwed me up big last game.

bumping and confirming this, makes Doorman really bad to play currently as you cannot pull off quick doors which is really necessary for some plays. Only started for me with the last minor patch yesterday.

Still happening as of now. Severe frame drops every time with stutters when holding to place a door at any surface.

As a fix i highly recommend playing quick cast, but you can still see the FPS dipping

Does quick cast just throw the door portal at the closest point to your crosshair, or will it not work unless you’re already aligned?

you still have to aim at "viable" spot. If you dont it throws error msg.
Not a perfect solution either because sometimes causes double casts next to eachother if you spam button.

a known temp fix for this bug is to use quick casting to at least mitigate it

im using AMD and it only happened after the most recent patch
