Doorman Targeted Casting Through Doors

Doorman doors can be used to fire bullets and projectiles to come out of the other door. Even bebop hook works through the doors intuitively. Bebop's ultimate also works intuitively (2 beam hitboxes are created, both dealing damage).

But, as I have tested, targeted selection abilities like bebop bomb, doorman ult, guardian ward, rescue beam, etc. do not work through the doors. That is, if I am looking through a doorman door, I cannot use bebop bomb, doorman ult, guardian ward, rescue beam (targeted selection abilities or items) through the door on heroes on the other side. This does not work regardless of the selection mode of the cast (confirm cast, instant cast, etc.).

Is this an undocumented bug, a known technical limitation, or a balance choice? As far as I know this does not have a forum post/is not a known issue, so I wanted to ask what the situation is regarding this matter.

I would think that it is a bug/technical limitation and not a known balance choice, and I would ask the kind and passionate deadlock development team to implement this mechanic.

For balance concerns, the most powerful abilities like bebop hook, double bebop ult, doorman bell, holiday lasso, etc. can already go through (with enemies also being able to fire through), so allowing guardian ward and rescue beam to work properly just makes sense to me.

I know that portal requirements are challenging to implement in a game engine, so I understand if this is not a priority at this time, but I would like this issue to be acknowledged/documented.
