After the January patch that introduced the new patrons and hero voting Doorman has been the victim of several bugs that make him incredibly unpleasant to play. This coinciding with recent direct and indirect nerfs to his utility and impact have left him feeling very frustrating and unenjoyable to play. These changes seem to have been overlooked in the most recent patch so I'd like to bring the most harmful ones to attention so that they can be addressed ASAP. There is a plethora of video evidence for most of these in the Doorman channel of the official discord, by searching the word "bug" you'll find recorded instances of many of the things that have hurt Doorman recently.
Most notoriously when Doorman sends REM to the Baroness the entire server can be victim to heavy lag spikes. There are also once again heavy frame drops when opening doors for all players in the vicinity (this has been fixed before I'm not sure why this issue has returned).
As of this patch, using Luggage Cart on someone immediately as they are freed from the Baroness sometimes will simply not carry them despite dealing damage to them which leads to confusion and unfair scenarios [URGENT].
There is currently a bug where your first door placement will be ignored and the game will simply place a revolving door on your second placement that leads to itself.
There is a bug where placing a door has Doorman perform the placing animation but the door simply doesnt place, this lasts forever until you stop channeling the cast and restart. This has been in the game since Doorman's addition afaik and is still present (though rarer than it used to be).
The new terrain in the new team bases is a nightmare for placing doors on. This is relevant for the point below.
Doorman has recently had his ability to portal the urn removed but this nerf was not extended to other characters who can run the urn incredibly efficiently like Viscous - who don't need to max their affiliated ability, have Greater Expansion and a 6.4k item (Echo Shard) to facilitate this. Additionally, with the new base changes, Doorman's ability to "kidnap" enemies into the spawn room is now practically irrelevant because attackers no longer need to put themselves in a location with a wall behind them to damage the patron. In fact, in the Hidden King base, the entire right side of the pit (from defender perspective) is unusable for door placements. So attackers can simply stand there or with their back to the blue lane door and be entirely safe from Doorman's doors. These two things are a direct nerf to Doorman's utility and playmaking ability which is fine but in the current state where those nerfs coincide with his new deeply unpleasant bugs and no compensatory buffs to his other abilities mean Doorman feels absolutely miserable to play this patch.
