I'm watching my friends match right now, I found his game in the watch tab. I can see in real time where all of his opponents are. That's obviously exploitable. You can really easily cheat in that way. Do not do this. I found his match by going into the watch menu and filtering by his hero.

you can do this in cs2 and dota 2 aswell iirc but in those games the spectator view is delayed by 30 seconds iirc

Yeah. In DOTA if you spectate normally it's 2 minutes behind. If you have DOTA plus, you can watch your friend's game in real time, but you can't see where the enemies are.

When I joined a friend’s match it was definitely delayed by about 30 seconds. I’m surprised to hear yours was real time.
