based on previous posts, ill probably not get an answer, but i am curious if a discord ban is appealable?

unlike everyone else i actually know what i did, and am willing to own up to it. i posted a SFM gif of a man entering a room, then suckerpucnhing someone with their penis

I was memeing a little too hard and i regret it very much so. i dont usually troll, i was just in an oddly good mood and was having some laughs.

i dont expect a ban lift, i just am curious if that is even possible on here


To close this out a bit more concisely, I was banned for posting an inappropriate gif, and i was not given a warning, just banned. it was my first infraction in the server (that im aware of that wasnt a chat deletion, but i see that constantly with *regulars*). never once been muted, and maybe i had a gif or two deleted in the almost 3 months ive been there (both deletions have been in the past like 2 weeks).
I very much so regret my decision and will NOT memegif anymore if im allowed back in. Pinky Promise

i dont expect *yoshi* to cherry pick my case. i want to appeal to a group of people and make my case. ive dm'd a mod, said mod said theres not much they can do beyond bring attention to the recurring issue of people getting banned with no prior warnings

You are right that its unlikely a forum post will help someone with a discord ban, but at the same time what other option do these people have in reaching valve? there is nowhere else to contact them and no way to appeal such a ban.

Yea man this is how the situacion is everybody can have a bad day sometimes.We are humans after all we all desurve second chances i even apolagise here in special post thread but nothing happend ..The situacion is not cool at all. From i can see other post this situation with discord bans is major problem with mutch more people they just don't care i saw post for bans since August.Still no reaction witch talk a lot.Remove your discord admins and make new one this one is not working properly!

Which mod did you DM? I messaged Yoshi about a Discord ban from way back but didn't get any reply.

ZM. he was one of the few mods i actually interacted with. we went back and forth a little, eventually he told me he raised awareness, things might:tm: change in the future, but unless yoshi makes me a special invite, theres no sense in unbanning me
