Disconnect Penalties Really Need Addressed

I am loving deadlock but the disconnect penalties are abysmal and killing any drive i have for it. Over the past few days I've noticed a crazy amount of post relating to false temp bans for disconnecting through no faults of their own, my friends and myself included. Why on earth are we getting 24hr bans and low priority que for games for a disconnect?

I've had this happen three times to me now, yes my internet is hot garbage but i am also upgrading in the near feature to hopefully something more stable. Two out of the three times this has happen to me I've have been able to join back no problem but still received a ban afterwards? Below are both the games i disconnected and rejoin because my internet decided to cut out. i played both of these out after disconnecting band still received temp bans for both of them?!?!

This next match i defiantly could see getting a warning, maybe a half hour or hour ban because I wasn't able to rejoin after trying three times, but low priority and a 24hr is crazy because i cant control my internet.

i really hope this issues get addressed because its been nothing but radio silence from the team i keep seeing more and more post about this happening to other players.
 
I completely agree
modern games have this issue all the time with way too extreme leavers punishments
deadlock isn't even that hard of a game to add joining a game in progress
at least in casual when they add comp and casual gamemodes
my suggestion would be to give the newly joined person the same amount of credits the leaver had + avg gain of the team they're on since the last input from the leaver
and the same amount of boon points +1 or smth
like comp the penalties are understandable but in casual 1 game 15 mins is bad
my suggestion would be to steal overwatches watchlist of the last 30 or 20 games and 1 is free 2 is 5 mins 3 is an hour 4 is 6 hours 5 is 24 hours and and every one after that can be 24 hours too anymore than that is absolutely too much
in comp I'd suggest the same system but it's not 20 and instead doesn't clear until the end of the season is moved over by one and any after 5 are a week and after 7 whole season
maybe no rejoining in comp as well as counter items are much more important there
i personally don't enjoy laining faze and so wouldn't mind filling if i got like one of those priority tokens or faster queue times
people have lives and a 30-65 min game especially if it runs long just isn't worth it
or if you're kinda throwing and getting trash talked
if people had the chance to leave sometimes then it could lead to less toxicity
when i accidentally throw and get trash talked i don't feel good and if i fill then i have something to blame right, just sometimes your mental gets too down and leaving is the best option
if games last long then leaving happens sometimes
