Yet another T1 weapon activatable idea!

Item Name: Discombobulation Grenade
Item type: Weapon
Cost: 500 souls
Stats:
+15% Reload speed

Active: 35s Cooldown
Hurl a nasty grenade that leave those struck hurt and disoriented. Consumes all ammo in your gun, dealing weapon damage based on the amount of ammo left and reducing stamina.

- Bullet damage dealt: 30 damage + (100 * percentage of your base ammo capacity consumed)
- - 1 Stamina on enemies hit

Special note: Because the grenade deals Bullet damage, it's damage is affected by other effects which increase bullet damage. Take note that the scaling damage is also based on your base ammo capacity, meaning things like Basic Magazine and +% ammo golden urns both increase the damage dealt by the item.

It comes at the cost of emptying your magazine (which is why it's damage can be so high), but I think it could be really handy for helping secure a kill as it steals a stamina to keep enemies from dashing away.
 
I think you need to read up on what disarm is
It is a disarm, just make the disarm the length of a reload.

However, after thinking about it, you can use other items to give you a free reload, so I guess not.

It would make items like the Heavy melee to Reload item [forgot the name] get a little more use.

That last point is actually very much why it consumes ammo instead of being a disarm. Melee Charge pairs very well with it, giving it an extra 100 damage (minimum) or a way to immediately reload after using it.

Consuming ammo, which costs the player damage, also allows it to deal more damage than a T1 item normally could, as otherwise the damage would have to be almost insignificantly low.
