We all know how Valve loves to use their old designs in new games, and we all love it. So I thought, why not remind Yoshi that you can take not only portals from Portal, but also gel! I present to you a character concept whose gameplay is based on the gel from Portal 2.
SkillSet:
1 - Mix paints
Standard AOE skill (like Doorman or Rem)
Reduce movement speed when exploding and dealing spirit damage
2 - Paint the world
The Demiurge fires orange or purple paint in front of them, capable of coloring floors and walls (similar to gel in Portal).
Moving through the orange paint increases movement speed and fire rate.
Moving through the purple paint increases spiritual power and increases jumping power.
Hitting an ally or enemy with any of the paints blurs vision and slightly slows movement.
You can switch paint colors by using an alternative paint.
The paint dries over time and gradually loses its properties until they are completely lost.
3 - Emanation
The Demiurge spreads an aura around himself, granting himself and his allies a debuff reduction effect. The effect lasts for as long as Yoshi desires.
4 - Composition
When cast, the Demiurge requires some time to prepare his ultimate. After preparation, all enemy heroes within the ultimate's range (a cone of some size in front of the Illustrator) are cursed. Their movement is significantly slowed, and when they attempt to move, they take damage. Moving outside the ultimate's range removes the curse.
While the ultimate is active, the Illustrator cannot move, otherwise it will cancel the ultimate, but moving during the preparation does not cancel the preparation.
