Hey so I haven’t thought through this character fully, and/or a whole kit. Just a cool concept. Imagine Vyper’s Slither movement with bits and pieces from Mirage’s kit (Djinn Mark multiplier) and Lash’s kit (rank 3 ground slam meter scaling) put together. Hear me out:
So imagine you’re Tony hawk. You can do tricks, get combos going, and maybe that combo building gets more dmg scaling (like Mirage’s Djinn Mark) to “finish” the combo on enemies. They could do grinding on ledges, wall rides on the side of buildings, manuals to maintain combos while moving around, and tricks like kick flips to add to the combo before landing the dmg. This would also incentivize the hero to get crates and jungle camps after or during lane phase.
Maybe they’re melee based with smacking the skateboard and getting off of it, or, this could just be the melee animation. Gun would be cool so they could shoot while maintaining combos but it could be mechanically complicated. Again, rough draft.
Ultimate I haven’t really gotten to a good concept of what it could look like. Maybe the combos is the ultimate and this could be a hero that doesn’t really have a massive “big button” move. Or maybe it just gives you an instant multiplier to the combos so you can get a big burst off before landing the finishing combo on an enemy.
Again this is all a rough draft. I just love the movement in this game and I really think this could, in theory, make use of every mechanic of movement. Whether the combo part of it is cut from the kit, the hero using the skateboard adds to much uniqueness from anything we have in the game so far.
Thoughts?
(Also adding someone mentioned the idea of this character being a roller-skate hero as well with the same skating mechanics. I thin both could be interesting!
