Deadlock invite not Received by Friend

I Invited my Friend on 2 Accounts in Deadlock and in both occasions the Invite did not go through.

When my friend did Check his E- Mail tho he saw that he had a Invite that he cant take anymore back when Deadlock still had 4 Lanes so i think the Account might be locked away from joining now since he received a Invite a long time ago which he cant accept.

Please help if theres any answers.
