The new eerie, haunting whispers that were added to cultist coming off cooldown are really good and fitting for the item. Would love to see this expanded on a bit. Maybe more sounds on use, or periodic whispers and noises while the buff is active.

I think it would also be interesting to add a negative to cultist with this. When new cultist comes off cooldown, the voices demand a sacrifice, but what if the longer you took to actually use the item, the voices became more frequent and louder, eventually getting to the point where the voices take matters into their own hands and decide that you will be the sacrifice. Starting off with small ticks of damage slowly building up until you have to sell the item or go out of your way to appease the voices with a creep.

I think it would be nice to finally give cultist a downside, since currently, there really isn't one and the item is pretty strong. Most of the time, it won't matter, but if you're in the middle of a late game fight and have either forgotten to sell it, haven't had the time to actually go to a camp, or you've been holding on to it too long in hopes a tier 3 camp will spawn, it could be pretty dangerous.

Another idea I had, for much later down the line, is maybe a special animation when purchasing and selling the item. On purchase, your character would cut their hand and place it on an idol, making the pact of the cultist buff in exchange for the sacrifice. On sell, your character would smash the idol and your hand would heal, thus breaking the pact. This could potentially be too "culty" for the game, but it's just an idea.
