It's really awful and honestly worse for players not abusing. You can no longer gank and you can no longer even be in the middle between 2 lanes seeking a gank/jungling. I lost 1k-2k on a lane because of just casual people doing normal play and don't understand it.
It's sorta more evidence to me the entire doubled money mechanic is heavily flawed by design but that's a separate post.
It ended up here because I was confused why 2 people in a lane was awarding 21 each instead of 42 which is half the normal amount and I never left the lane.
Forces players into the strategy of needing to wait until 10 minutes/attempt to roll a lane themselves (possibly not possible as the 'quick draft' format doesn't allow you to attempt to prevent 'easy' lanes for the opponents or find 'easy' lanes for you, etc. You're effectively stuck and attempting to play the game honestly now has secret punishments attached to it.)
Got a whopping 14 today while people were jungling/running around doing nothing while doing 1v1 in my lane.
This REALLY has to be addressed. Random players have no idea how this work, it's so convoluted and awful now that I'd honestly rather have whoever gets the creep get the money and no denies. This is way too cute by half and needs immediate fixing. You can be jungling seemingly halfway between lanes and it's screwing up money for other players. You can just troll people with it too.
