During a battle, the game suddenly crashed with a popup indicating there was an error loading an asset.
Tried to relaunch the game, the game tried to verify itself, and got stuck. Relaunched steam, no affect. Restarted the computer and launched steam. Deadlock was able to download the missing components it needed (which was 0 according the the download manager) and the game launched. By then I had already counted as an Abandon.
