Concussive Shot - An early game channeling interrupt

+1m/s Sprint Speed
+6% Weapon Damage

Active: 35s Cooldown
Fire a projectile that deals Weapon Damage and interrupts channeling abilities. If the enemy hero was channeling an ability when it hits, that ability goes on a cooldown.

18m Cast Range; 4s Cooldown applied to the ability

The main thought behind this item is a way to quickly interrupt channeling abilities without completely punishing the enemy for using them. All the numbers can be tweaked to better balance the item, but a relatively cheap item that delays strong channeling abilities could be fun. Maybe instead of having it automatically target an enemy like most other debuff items, it could be a projectile you have to more precisely aim at them.
 
Too good. If you could counter annoying things from start, they wouldnt be annoying and heroes that use them will lose relevance and become weaker.
 
Knockdown is the item you're looking for.
Knockdown is for the setup, since 2 secs delay on it will allow enemy to channel spell for 2 secs, which is enough in most situations. Curse Item is only viable for interrupting as it is instant and also applies silence. Also it all boils down to who presses their item first, if a guy in question have unstoppable. Right now there is nothing that can stop someone if he really want to cast something.
