CONCEPTS FOR A NEW HERO

TIMEWATCHER

First ability: More options

ab1.png

Description: The hero can switch between two weapons, the musket and the pistol. The musket has increased range and damage, but has a smaller clip and lower attack speed. The pistol fires faster and has a larger clip, but does less damage and has a lower range.

Basic: It takes 1 second to switch between weapons. Cd between switches is 10 seconds

Tier 1: Switching takes 0.5 seconds. Damage on first shot with musket +10%, if with pistol, increased attack speed +5% for 2 seconds.

Tier 2: Switching takes 0.3 seconds. Damage for the first two shots with a musket +15%, if with a pistol, the attack speed is increased +10% for 3 seconds. Additionally, the player gains a 10% bonus to movement and reload speed for 5 seconds after switching.

Tier 3: Switching takes 0.1 seconds. Damage for the first two shots from a musket +20%, if from a pistol, increased attack speed +15% for 3 seconds. Additionally, the player gains a 15% bonus to movement and reload speed and headshots deal +20% more damage for 5 seconds after switching.

Second ability: Go Back in Time

ab2.png

Description: The hero can go back in time by rolling back all the damage he received in a short period of time, as well as moving back to his old location. (Analogous to 1 Faceless Void skill from DoTA 2).

Basic: Rolls back time by 3 seconds. Restore health to the level it was 3 seconds ago.

Teir 1: Time roll back 3.5 seconds. Restore health and remove negative effects from the last 3.5 seconds.

Tier 2: Roll back time 4 seconds. Restores health and removes negative effects taken in the last 4 seconds. And temporarily gains a +10% movement speed bonus for 2 seconds.

Tier 3: Roll back time 4.5 seconds. Restores health and removes negative effects gained in the last 4.5 seconds. And temporarily gains a +10% bonus to movement and reloading speed for 3 seconds.

Third ability: It's not time yet

ab3.png

Description: The hero can fire a shot from his rifle (the range of the spell is equal to the attack range + a small distance), thus stunning the target(even allies heroes), all damage received during the stasis period is deferred until its completion. If the stun has removed, the target will only receive 50% of the deferred damage.

Basic: Stun lasts for 1.5 seconds. All damage taken during the stan period is deferred until the stan ends. If the stun is removed, the target takes 50% of the pent-up damage. The range of the shot is equal to the attack range + a small distance.

Tier 1: Stun lasts for 2 seconds. All damage taken during the stasis period is deferred until it ends and is increased by 10%. If the stun is removed, the target takes 50% of the deferred damage. Shot range is equal to attack range + normal distance.

Tier 2: Stun lasts for 2 seconds. All damage deferred during the stasis period is deferred until it ends and is increased by 10%. If the stun is removed, the target takes 50% of the deferred damage. After the stun ends, the target is slowed by 30% for 2 seconds. The range of the shot is equal to the attack range + normal distance.

Tier 3: Stun lasts for 2 seconds. All damage dealt during the stasis period is delayed until it ends and is increased by 25%. If the stun is removed, the target takes 50% of the deferred damage. After the stun ends, the target is slowed by 40% for 3 seconds. The first hit on the target after the stun ends deals critical damage (x2). Shot range is equal to attack range + long range.

Fourth ability(Ultimates): Breaking Rules

ab4.png

Description: A hero in a spherical area around him stops the flow of time, causing all heroes except the wielder to stop in place. The heroes are stunned and cannot act. The wielder of the ability, while inside the sphere, draws two weapons at the same time and can attack with them at the same time, the magazine capacity for the two weapons takes the average of the sum of the musket and the pistol. (Analogous to the Faceless Void ultimatum from DoTA 2).

Basic: Sphere lasts 3 seconds and has a small radius. Characters inside the sphere are stunned and cannot move or act. The wielder can attack with two weapons at once, using the average clip value between a musket and a pistol.

Tier 1: Sphere lasts 3.5 seconds, medium radius. Characters inside the sphere are stunned and cannot move or act. The wielder of the ability can attack with two weapons at once, using the average clip between a musket and a pistol. Attack speed is increased by 10% while the sphere is active.

Tier 2: The sphere lasts for 4 seconds and has a medium radius. Characters inside the sphere are stunned and cannot move or act. The wielder of the ability can attack with two weapons at once, using the average clip value between a musket and a pistol. Attack speed is increased by 20% and each attack has a 20% chance to deal critical damage (x1.5) while the sphere is active. Stamina regeneration rate is increased.

Tier 3: The sphere lasts 4.5 seconds and has a large radius. Heroes inside the sphere are stunned and cannot move or act. The wielder can attack with two weapons at once, using the average clip value between a musket and a pistol. Attack speed is increased by 25% and each attack has a 25% chance to deal critical damage (x2) while the sphere is active. Stamina is not spent.

P.s: Needs improvements and balance, so edits in the comments are welcome. Sry for my english and using translation.

As you said, theres similarities to Faceless void, ult seems like a better dynamo ult since you can attack inside of it, what if you made it so that it functions like faceless void's new facet, Time zone, where as instead of stunning them for 3 seconds it slows their animations. Makes it more original that way too.

Its good idea, but it will be easy to escape, so instead of stun like u said slow will be better, but also i think its needed to add leashed mechanic for this skill

right, they could just walk out of it, leash makes total sence actually now that i think about it, nice one!

An interesting idea, but this ability seems to be similar to the Tracer ability in Overwatch. However, 3 seconds does not seem enough, in my opinion.
i dont have enough experience in Deadlock for balacing, so i just wrote what i thought) i have edited skill, is seconds scaling enough?
