Communication restriction

hat is the proper way to go about a communication restriction appeal? I believe I was falsely reported, and it led to a 3-day restriction on my account. Text chat I only say gg (sometimes "gg ez" sarcastically) or use the quick chat "good game!" or "retreat".

I had already taken 2 days of punishment, when the punishment ended automatically after 1/2 day I got another one, without saying almost anything????

Why do you think it's ok to say "gg ez"? Like, on what planet is that a nice and wholesome and sportsmanlike thing to say? It's rude. That's the verbal equivalent of kicking someone when they're down.

Do you think that saying “gg ez” which would be the same thing as “easy match” is toxic to the point of receiving PUNISHMENT for 4 days? the same punishment as someone probably said much worse things...? and you got it just because you commented "gg ez"? you must be the type of person who loses all the time and gets offended by it, wtf??
 
Ah for you my friend, it's not about the "gg ez", it's about how you spam the chat and ruins the flow of communication for your team that they decide to just mass report you instead, this doesn't happen in only one game but multiple game and you get reported many times in multiple game resulting to your ban

Stop picking the least toxic thing you do in-game and think that's the reason, mostly that's not the reason.

Yes, I think the underlying behavior that causes you to treat other people with disrespect for no reason should get you banned. Do you think it's okay to go through life trying to hurt people?

If you get hurt with just one "gg ez" I URGENTLY recommend looking for a friendly psychologist, WHY would this result in a ban considering that in CS GO there is a spray with "gg ez" being from the same company "valve" if you go back to the forum you will see several people complaining about the same thing, but you are one of the only ones who suffer from "gg ez" hahaha

Just because it’s the same company doesn’t mean it’s the same team. Different game, different development team, different community, different rules, and different tolerances.

Think of it like traveling to another country. You live on the same planet as everyone else, but if you behave the same way abroad as you do at home, the consequences can be very different.

Toonces you really need to take a step back and stop with these weird comments. How on earth you made the connection between “gg ez” on a video game to someone who stole government property in a different country and was punished with lashes to the back is beyond me….
 
Being heated during the game is fine, nobody seriously reports you for that. But posting "ez" or similar after the game is just ragebait, there's no good reason to do that - and you get reported for it.
 
Talking shit it's natural you get reported. I hope this doesn't distract from the fact that people can still just abuse reports and there have been misfires.

It’s called an analogy. His argument was, ‘But I can act this way in other games, so why not here?’ My response was that the same situation in different environments comes with different consequences.
 
Like my first comm ban for 2 days it sucked but I deserved it. Nothing extreme but life has been stressful and a particularly bad day with really terrible matchmaking set me off because what I hoped would distract me for a while just turned into even more stress. I got frustrated at no one ever looking at the map. But I cooled down and tried to focus more on positive communication afterwards and I had a strong win streak in ranked going and things were looking up and then I just randomly got hit with another. It was upsetting and I did not do anything to warrant it this time. This is what had me reaching out about the issue and it's pretty disappointing seeing some people get really contentious in threads while appealing stuff. Does not help our case.

I’m well aware of what an analogy is. I also can read, and have already read what his argument is. This still doesn’t mean that you should be using an analogy involving physical lashing to compare to repercussions in a video game. It’s strange and unnecessarily violent considering the context of this entire thread. It’s a video game, the worst that can and will happen to anyone is a ban. No one will get lashed or physically punished for anything they do online.

Ignore this crazy guy, he clearly needs help and he's not getting it, crazy guy is getting a "gg ez" in a completely different direction
